Annaghkeen Cottages are three beautifully renovated self catering apartments, nestling in a small townland on the shores of world famous Lough Corrib. We are located approximately four miles from the town of Headford, and 16 miles from the City of Galway. Here you will find the perfect blend of country life, but within easy reach of the lively and friendly City of Galway.


Laundry room with Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer, sink for cleaning fish etc. and chest freezer. Home cooked meals and packed lunches available on request. Dogs welcome. Fishing Lough Corrib, the largest lake in the state covers 44,000 acres. It extends from Galway City to Maam in Connemara, a distance of thirty five miles approximately.
			The vast expanse of water remains unrivalled in Europe for it's variety of scenery and amenities. Salmon and Brown Trout are the main species sought after by anglers but monster pike lurk in the depths and there is always the chance of a Sea Trout. Access to the lake is five minutes stroll down a leafy lane. This brings you to Annaghkeen Pier where local fishermen keep their own boats and where space permitting visitors may moor their own.
